She stroked him gently on his side. He was taking deep breaths, each with more difficulty. She knew it was a matter of time he left her - but refused to believe that fact. All she could think of, was how to keep him by her side for as long as she could.

Time passed.

Giving in to Fate, he finally stopped struggling. She fought her tears, but after a while, she gave in. She could no longer keep her tears within, it was pouring inside her heart when she saw him breathe his last. As the tears flowed from her eyes, she stroked him for the last time and said her final goodbye.

I'll miss you...always
